Pysty Studio is the marketing name of a light entrepreneur and does not have its own business ID. Invoicing is handled through the invoicing service Suomen Keikkalasku (Business ID 2883508-5).

What data I process

• Contacts by email or phone: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of the message.
• Customers’ contact and billing details.
• Free samples: the video link you send, the segments downloaded from the video and the sample clips made from them. Other people may also be seen and heard in the video.
• Client work: the client’s videos and the clips, transcripts and captions made from them.

The site’s quote request puts your choices together into an email message that is sent from your own email program. The site does not store or send any data itself. I usually receive data only when you contact me yourself. The exception is samples made on my own initiative, described below.

Why the data is processed

• Preparing quotes and delivering the service. Legal basis: a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract.
• Invoicing and bookkeeping. Legal basis: a legal obligation.
• Making free samples at your request. Legal basis: steps taken before entering into a contract.
• Sometimes I make samples on my own initiative from a creator’s public video and send them only to the creator. Legal basis: legitimate interest (presenting the service). The samples are not published, and you can object to being contacted at any time.
• Marketing messages to businesses and to creators’ business contact addresses. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and you can object to the messages at any time.

How long data is kept

• Contacts that did not lead to a sale: 12 months.
• Customer data: for the duration of the contract and 2 years after it.
• Accounting records: as required by the Finnish Accounting Act, as a rule 6–10 years.
• Free samples and their raw files are deleted 30 days after the samples were sent, if you do not order the service.
• Raw files of clients’ videos are deleted 30 days after the client has approved the clips.
• Finished clips: for the duration of the contract and 2 years after it, so that I can handle revision requests and complaints. Clips are shown in my portfolio only with the client’s permission.

Who processes the data

Data is not sold or disclosed for marketing. It is processed only by the services needed for the work:

• email service: Gmail (Google)
• invoicing service Suomen Keikkalasku: billing details
• website hosting: GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.)
• website fonts: Google Fonts (Google)
• file delivery: Google Drive (Google)
• AI assistant: Anthropic (Claude), which processes transcripts and screenshots when clips are made
• music and audio service: ElevenLabs, only if music or audio is made for a clip. The client’s video is not sent to the service.

Transcription is primarily done on my own computer.

I process client work material, such as video and audio, on behalf of the client. This is agreed with the client in the contract terms or in a separate data processing agreement.

Use of the website

• The site uses no cookies and no visitor tracking.
• The site’s server (GitHub Pages) may store visitors’ IP addresses for security reasons.
• The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser’s IP address is passed to Google. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
• Some site settings are saved in your browser’s own storage (localStorage) so that they stay the same from page to page: the currency you choose (euro or dollar), the price view you choose on the Finnish page (private person or business) and a note that the opening animation on the home page has already been shown. This information never leaves your browser, and you can remove it by clearing the site data in your browser.

Transfers outside the EU

GitHub, Google, Anthropic and ElevenLabs may process data in the United States. Transfers are based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing and data portability. You can also object to the processing of your data. Send your request to korkiakoskihannes@gmail.com.

If you believe that your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Changes

I update this policy when the processing changes. The date of the latest update is at the top of the page.
